Job Description
•California based e-commerce client business that is a selling product online on many marketplaces like Ebay and Amazon. We have no inventory so we drop ship from many different suppliers. We have a team in our office in Newbury Park, CA as well as a team in India to operate the business including order fulfillment and customer support.
Primary Responsibilities:
• The Business Analyst is to study the current business operations and monitor the business performance in relation to order fulfillment and customer support
•Review current sales orders and online marketplaces and monitor the issues associated with them like late orders, cancelled orders and RMA concerns.
•Prepare reports with a summary of the main performance measurements and the main problems that need to be fixed
• Work with the order processing team, customer support team, programmers and suppliers to find the cause of the problems.
•Prepare a document of the current systems, policies and procedures and the changes required to fix the problems.
•Communicate the required changes to all parties involved in the project
•Monitor that the changes have been made and that the problems are resolved.
•Determine all the issues that need to be measured and monitored and work with the system analyst to design a system to automate the collection and reporting of this data.
Job Requirements: Qualifications:
• Must have a good understanding of ecommerce, drop shipping and online marketplaces such as ebay and Amazon.
• Ability to excel in a fast paced environment with a high degree of change and ambiguity.
•Past and proven experience as a business analyst is a MUST, with demonstrated ability to measure and improve business performance.
• Excellent communication skills and demonstrated expertise in writing and presentation.
•Record of consistently high performance and achievement.
