Job Description
The Role:
Join us as an HR Consultant, as a member of the HR Consultancy Practice, the HR Consultant is accountable for the successful delivery of programmes/projects in support of the business strategy set out in the People Plan. Working closely with HR Business Partners, business leaders and other consultants, the HR Consultant works with the other consultants and participates in projects to support business leaders manage the people impacts of change. Typically projects would involve supporting the business in implementing strategic change (e.g. restructuring, divestments, reshaping business, customer proposition, and capability)
Your Responsibilities as an HR Consultant, your responsibilities will require you to:
Project Delivery:
-Drives delivery of discrete projects, demonstrating commerciality, high standards, flexibility, pro-activity and accountability
-Diagnose, scope, design and deliver programmes / projects that meet customer needs & ensures interdependencies with other programmes/ work streams are managed including global/regional impact as appropriate
-Manages one or more concurrent small projects or work streams
-Establishes and maintains a clear definition of project scope and deliverables
-Collaborative engagement of stakeholders, peers and project team resource to successfully deliver project outcomes that deliver a seamless service to clients and customers
-Partner the business leaders and finance to provide technical and commercial input to any investment case and funding requirements
-Follows effective programme/project governance, including post project reviews. Monitors and reports on the progress of plan, including managing interdependencies and risks and issues
-Proactive identification of the people and wider business implications arising from the business/functional strategy
Business Restructuring:
-Provides expertise on business restructuring and help develop business case for change.
-Provides advice and strategies to deal with people consequences of change, e.g. headcount reductions, growth
-Advises on the impact of increased regulatory requirements and provides recommendations on business structures to achieve strategic goals of the business
-Utilizes all relevant information to create improvements to the way the business operates

Retention and Engagement:
-Utilizes key metrics to identify trends and proactive recommendations to the business to drive engagement levels
-Work with the centers of expertise and the business to implement performance management systems and practices
Deliver changes to ensure robust practices that link performance and reward are embedded

Skills you need in order to be successful in this role, you must have the following skills & experience:
-HR or business qualification or relevant experience
-Consulting skills, Generalist HR experience.
-Experience of managing small projects from inception to embedding
-Broad understanding of employment legislation for countries operating in
-Experience in working with business leaders and with partners in specialist HR functions and managing stakeholders
-Track record of collaborative working relationships across reporting lines
-Fundamental Relationship management capabilities
-Complies with relevant Group Policies, testing and certifying (or considers and escalates) the adequacy and effectiveness of the business controls on a regular basis
-Establishes and documents (or follows and/or maintains) operating procedures which include relevant controls to meet Group and local policy requirements.
